About the role:

As an Odoo Backend Developer, you will work in a team of bright and motivated individuals to drive the growth and performance of the fundcraft brand. You will be responsible for building and customizing backend modules and functionalities within the Odoo framework. We have an agile, quality-oriented development methodology with two-week sprints, continuous delivery, code reviews, and automated e2e testing among many other best practices.

This position is based in Girona, Spain and reports to our Backend Lead Developer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom backend modules for Odoo to meet the specific needs of our clients. This includes writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code following Odoo's development best practices.
  • Administer an Odoo instance used for client’s accounting and work on accounting data migrations from and to Odoo.
  • Integrate Odoo with databases and APIs to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
  • Collaborate in improving engineering standards, tooling and processes.
  • Collaborate with other team members to integrate backend functionality with the user interface.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and stability of Odoo deployments.
Must-Have Experience / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on Odoo development.
  • Experience with Python programming language and experience with the Odoo framework.
  • English: fluent level (spoken and written)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with other elements of fundcraft's tech stack: Django, FastApi,PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies.
