AIFM Officer

The challenges you’ll help to tackle
You will have the opportunity to be an integral part of the team in a fast-paced work environment.
Within the team, you will report to the Conducting Officers of the AIFM:

  • You will supporting the Conducting Officers on the day to day requirements and administrative tasks, and help coordinating between the different teams of our company (i.e. tax, accountant, corporate, compliance ...) and outside lawyers, notaries and banks
  • You will be supporting the AIFM team on tasks and duties, and get exposure to the various functions (in particular portfolio management, risk management and valuation) whilst playing an integral role in the service delivery
  • You will be coordinating and/or leading ad-hoc AIFM projects, and take an important role in short-/mid- and long-term projects like license extensions, new services or coordination with new features with our colleagues in our other European office
  • You will be coordinating of the onboarding of new funds and ensure all AIFM processes are duly implemented from day number one, and prepare the briefing memorandum and roadmap for the AIFM onboarding
  • You will implement and/or support the AIFM oversight methodology and due diligence of delegates and other service providers (depositaries,  investment advisors and marketing function) and continuously improve the same
  • You will be the first point of contact and to liaising with the internal auditor, overseeing audits and coordinating responses to audit points with the teams and follow up the recommendations
  • You will coordinate the information flow and exchange process with the depositary
  • You will monitor all statutory and regulatory filing deadlines of the AIFM, and support the teams in the creation and delivery if required
  • You will coordinate the annual review of the policies, procedure and any other documents requiring a recurring validation
Who you are
  • You hold a diploma in Law, Economics, or Management
  • Ideally, you have a professional experience of at least 3 years in a similar position, but an experienced Fund/Corporate specialist being used to work in a regulated company will be considered as well
  • You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, any other language is an asset
  • You possess relationship and communication skills enabling you to evolve in a team and connect with other teams in the company, clients and third parties
  • You are very well organized and rigorous
  • You are able to prioritize workload, roll up your sleeves and manage several tasks
  • You are dynamic and proactive, with an attitude to exceed
  • You display a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Finally, you have an amazing sense of humor :)
