About the role:
As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will work in a team of bright and motivated individuals to drive the growth and performance of the fundcraft brand. The successful candidate will be self motivated, enjoy working in a challenging environment, report to and assist the Accounting Manager in the day to day administration of assigned clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting the Accounting Manager in the day to day administration of assigned Clients.
  • Supporting the team growth and act in a Senior capacity.
  • Being responsible for reviewing the accurate fee accruals, calculation of performance / incentive fees and their payment.
  • Managing daily reconciliations ensuring discrepancies are resolved and entries are booked.
  • Computing income distributions and supporting capital activity,
  • Reviewing, and when necessary, preparing Financial Statements with footnotes and responding to audit requests.
  • Escalating issues or errors in a timely manner, providing suggested solutions, delivering all assigned tasks as per SLA and meeting client deadlines expectations.
  • Providing assistance to team members in execution of daily operational activities.
  • Ensuring procedures, controls and best practice documentation are adhered to and supporting updates.
  • Supporting fundcraft business objectives or OKRs to encourage growth and development.
  • Liaising and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that client needs are met.
  • Assisting with ad hoc projects and other responsibilities as delegated.

Must-Have Experience / Qualifications:
  • Degree in Business or Finance.
  • Qualified Accountant (CPA, ACCA, or CA), or working towards Qualification.
  • You have  4 - 6 years of working experience in funds industry.
  • Spanish: fluent level (spoken and written).
  • English: fluent level (spoken and written).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of IFRS and Lux GAAP,  Luxembourg Fund Structuring knowledge.
  • Extensive knowledge of Regulated and Unregulated Luxembourg Fund Structures.
  • Knowledge of and/or interest in new technologies.
  • Ability to take ownership of your work and a ‘Getting-Things-Done’ mindset.
  • Dynamic and proactive work ethic with willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Be adaptable, flexible, a strong team player and an active listener.
  • Ability to handle complex deliverables across a number of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with daily deadlines and with a high level of accuracy.
  • Provide fast open, constructive feedback.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence others.
