About the role:
As an FS Associate Accountant you will work in a team of bright and motivated individuals to drive the growth and performance of the fundcraft brand. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be an integral part of building up our accounting excellence team in Girona.
Key Responsibilities:
  • You will handle the preparation of accounts payable ("AP") including but not limited to:
    • Invoice review / approval coordination
    • Handling bookkeeping of "AP"
    • Preparing any Fund wire transfers (investment, invoices,...) in Multiline
    • Following up on bank accounts balances
    • Initiate the investment payments under the supervision of the CRM
  • You will prepare Fund accounting reconciliations
  • You will take care of cash analysis report preparation
  • You will be handling the day‐to‐day bookkeeping including, but not limited to:
    • Prepaid, accruals
    • Reconciliation of Inter-company trade & loans balances
  • You will update intercompany loan matrix & prepare interests calculations
  • You will prepare financial statements under supervision of the Senior Accountant
  • You will manage the general company administration including eCDF, e-RCS, VAT & CIT filings - under or with the support of the tax specialist
  • You will participate in financial projects when required
  • You will assume ad-hoc responsibilities as delegated by your superior

Must-Have Experience / Qualifications:
  • You hold a diploma in Accounting, Audit/Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent
  • You have a professional experience of at least 2 years as an accountant 
  • Capable and eager to take initiative
  • Ability to prioritise workload and to manage several tasks
  • Spanish: fluent level (spoken and written)
  • English: fluent level (spoken and written)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • You are familiar with IFRS and international GAAP, such as US GAAP, Luxembourg GAAP, or German GAAP
  • You are excited to learn about alternative investment funds and its specificities, such as Net Asset Value calculation
  • Curious about technology and interested in adopting new tools in your daily work
